He clarified why the family still went ahead with the petition: “There was a 36–48 hour gap between my tweet and Aditya Dhar’s clarification. The petition was filed within that window.” Madhur maintains the family isn’t seeking compensation or credit, only transparency. “We’re not asking for anything. We just want empathy. If the film is inspired by him, acknowledge it. If not, state clearly that the speculation is incorrect. This is about respecting every family that has lost a soldier.” The family will consult their legal team before deciding next steps.
